Richard was born in Stratford, Ontario in 1954, and moved to London as a teenager. He also enjoys photographing landscapes, some of which has been used to service markets worldwide and the associated text has subsequently been translated into numerous languages, advertisements as well as marketing and promotional programs feature Richard's photography, catalogues, NIAGARA (foreword by Donald Zaraldo) and STRATFORD (text by Christopher Plummer).Corporate brochures, IMAGES OF WATERLOO COUNTY (foreword by Peter Gzowski), IMAGES OF LONDON (foreword by Peter Desbarats), LONDON (foreword by Bill Brady), and his work has been published in eleven 'coffee table' books.Published books include; WESTERN (foreword by Kevin Newman), promoting corporations to the far east and Europe. Soon after graduating from The University of Western Ontario, he began his career as a professional photographer, concentrating on corporate and commercial photography.
