Daya Counselling Centre is a community-based agency providing individual, couple, and family counselling for persons age 16+.Our mission is to help people achieve their full potential by providing counselling and education programs that respect their human and spiritual nature.To honor a person's human nature is to honor the whole person with compassion, to hold them in nonjudgement, and to believe they are doing the best they can at this moment in time.Honoring your personal spirituality is about recognizing you as a whole person - your body, mind, and spirit. Whatever that may be, that sense of connection or belongingness may be a resource for you as you are making sense of your life and your struggles. That may be your connection to your faith and/or your faith community, or your connection to earth/nature, or something entirely different. Spirituality is your connection to something that is larger than yourself. It may also be a part of your healing, growth, and recovery.
